Belinda Nguyen

Belinda graduated with a Master of Business from the Queensland University of Technology in 2018. She joined the International Professional Services team in July 2020 as a graduate accountant.

Belinda finds her passion in taxation and business advisory after working in both accounting firms, a commercial company, and a bank.

Belinda’s daily duty is to support directors and senior accountants in compiling financial statements, preparing income tax returns, and processing self-managed superannuation fund compliance and taxation affairs.

Belinda is enthusiastic about developing her knowledge and skills via our professional team and managers. She is heading towards to target of becoming a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA).

Peta Ryan

Peta joined International Professional Services in August 2019 as our Client Services Officer.

With a strong motivation to succeed, Peta provides a mature and professional approach to our client’s needs helping to nurture successful relationships by providing superior end-to-end client services. With a positive and dynamic personality, Peta enjoys working in the financial services industry and has a desire to complete her Financial Planning studies to become a paraplanner.

James Collacott

MTax, FCA, CTA

James joined International Professional Services in March 2020 after having spent more than 6 years working for two Top 100 Accounting firms based on The Gold Coast.

James immigrated to Australia in 2012 after spending the majority of his career in London, UK. With a career spanning over 30 years in the accounting and taxation professions, James brings a highly professional approach to his work and is dedicated to assisting clients reach their financial and personal goals.

James has a passion for tax and is continually developing his knowledge in order to assist clients achieve the very best tax outcomes. In 2019 James was awarded with excellence his Master in Tax degree by the University of New South Wales. He was also awarded the 2019 Dean’s List Award for the top student in a Master’s program and the 2018 Gordon Cooper Memorial AM Prize for Capital Gains Tax.

James draws on his practical experience to provide tailored and innovative advisory and business structure advice for diverse groups and business entities. James provides tax advice across all areas of taxation including capital gains tax, the small business CGT concessions, Division 7A, employment and FBT, GST, profit extraction, corporate entities and the taxation of trusts.

During his career, James worked for the London office of one of the World’s biggest and most prestigious music and entertainment business management firms. Duties included responsibility for the day-to-day financial and taxation affairs of household name performance artists.

Jodie Hall

As a member of our administration team, Jodie’s role sees her providing support to the IPS Team Members along with performing a range of administration and bookkeeping duties.
Jodie recently completed Certificate IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping, continually striving to enhance her qualifications by undertaking bookkeeping tasks within her administration role.

With a background in Teaching, Jodie opted for a career change when she and her family moved to the Gold Coast from Victoria earlier this year.

Gaston Walpole

B.Com (Accounting)

Gaston graduated from Griffith University in July 2017. He joined IPS in March 2018 to further his accounting skills and knowledge.

Gaston currently assists Directors and Senior Accountants with the preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, auditing of self-managed superannuation funds and other general audits.

Gaston is a meticulous accountant with a strong work ethic and prides himself in always producing highly accurate work in a timely manner. Since joining IPS Gaston has grown as an accountant and has become a valuable member of our team.

max maksimovic

B.Comm (Accounting), C.A.

Max joined International Professional Services in March 2017 after spending more than 5 years in the Insolvency industry.  The move away from insolvency was due to his passion to gain more experience in the taxation and self managed super fund areas of the industry.

Max has since completed his Chartered Accounting Course with the Institute of Chartered Accountants Australia and was soon after admitted as a Chartered Accountant in 2018.

Although Max is currently domiciled in the SMSF division of the firm, he has taken on other files that have allowed him to expand his knowledge in the preparation of income tax returns and financial statements for individuals, partnerships, trusts and companies.

Sel Hardy

Sel joined International Professional Services as a Senior Associate and Business Development Manager in 2012.  Sel has over four decades of experience in the Banking and Finance industries combined and adds value to the firm with his ability to assist the directors in providing high level advice, assistance and guidance to the clients of IPS.

Sel’s role has, at many times, extended beyond that of assisting the directors, to being responsible for the organisation of various IPS client information nights, partnered marketing events and of course the popular IPS Annual Charity Golf Day held each year to benefit a worthy cause.

In addition to Sel’s extensive experience in the banking and finance world, Sel was the proud owner of a franchise sunglass business.  This ‘hands on’ journey has afforded him the experience needed to understand the pressures that business owners face in today’s economy.

Sel’s commitment to building genuine relationships with new and existing clients is at the forefront of his role at IPS. Additionally, his overall warmth and genuine understanding of today’s business domain in relation to finance, banking and SMB’s enables him to provide valuable advice to those at International Professional Services.

Damion Emmanuel

F.C.C.A., SSA, C.A., Dip FS (FP), JP (Qual)

Damion joined International Professional Services in March 2004.  Damion has over 25 years of experience in the accounting, superannuation, audit and finance industries combined, including 8 years within an international big 4 accounting practice based overseas.

Damion has extensive practical experience in providing tax compliance and business advisory services to small and medium-sized business clients and works closely with clients as part of their Accounting and Business Advisory teams. Such advice has included the implantation of cloud based accounting systems that have provided efficiencies around costing, reporting cash flow management and KPI trends & analysis.  Damion’s skills, experience and knowledge are highly valued by IPS’s clients and complement the firm’s service offerings.

In addition to business advisory services, Damion has assisted clients with corporate restructuring, debt restructure, succession and retirement planning.

As a business and tax advisor, Damion will work with you to ensure you spend more time working on your business rather than in it. Damion will provide advice to assist with the challenges of operating a business and provide support in achieving outcomes.

Jorja Blakemore

As a member of our dedicated administration team, Jorja’s role sees her providing support to the IPS Team Members along with performing a broad range of administration duties on a day to day basis.

With a background in Customer Service, clients can be assured, whether on the phone or in person, that they will always be greeted with a professional and friendly attitude and a willingness to assist everyone to the best of her ability.

Jorja completed her Diploma of Business during her last years of High School. She continues to strive to learn as much as she can within the accounting industry and to always provide a high level of professionalism ensuring the smoothest experience possible.

Onnicha Lin

B.Com (Acc. Fin.), C.A.

Onnicha joined the International Professional Services team in April 2012 as a graduate accountant and subsequently graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance) at Griffith University in 2010.
Onnicha has experience working within the accounting industry specialising in taxation and compliance and has recently graduated as a Chartered Accountant.

Onnicha works with a broad client base in all types of business structures including sole traders, partnerships, trusts and companies. She is responsible for the preparation of financial statements and tax returns and also provides advisory services such as financial performance reviews, structure planning and reviews, benchmarking.

Onnicha prides herself in being committed to developing her skills and knowledge through her work in addition to learning from senior members of IPS.
